The central hub aboard the ship is the atrium, which is the largest atrium to go to sea. It is practicly double the size of the atriums aboard other ships of the line and its decor is supurb.

Located next to the atrium is a Princess Cruises favorite, Crooners. It also has a terrace outside.		This mosaïc is displayed in the future cruise center, where you can book another cruise while still on vacation.

A totally unique feature aboard is Princess Live, a live-studio where gameshows, wake-up shows and entertainment is performed, recorded and then streamed over the ships video systems. 

The Crown Grill offers more intimate, luxurious setting to dine.		Next to the Crown Grill is the Wheelhouse Bar, done in a classic, nautical setting.

Below is the ships library. Originally, it wasn't meant for the ship to have one, but Princess Cruises had a lot of reactions from frequent passengers that they really wanted one after all, the line decided to add a library, although they kept it quite small. But then, many modern ships have their library incorporated into the internet-café and mostly that space is thus bigger, but the library part is not much bigger then this one. Royal Princess has a seperate internet-café on board.

The Vista Lounge is one of the main lounges aboard. Shows are performed here, smaller then in the actual theater though. Princess Cruises is known for their concept of large to very large ships that still keep a lot of intimacy and give the feeling of being on a much smaller ship. Opinion about this are varied, but also passengers and demands are varied thus that is not really a surprise. All in all, Princess does offer a lot of places to spent your time aboard , but when something is really popular, like the Princess Live studio, it can be that people have to queue up inside or outside and it becomes clear that it just is a large ship. Also the ships theater, where sadly it wasn't possible to take pictures because it was very dark inside while a movie was playing that it seemed nobody was watching, is considered too small by many reports. But again, this ship is the first in a series and Princess can always update and re-design sisterships now it is known which venues are the most popular. 

The most talked about feature aboard (when you can say aboard) , is the Seawalk. Where the Grand Class ships had this shoppingcart handle at the back, the Royal Class has this steel half-moon swinging out of the ships superstructure not for any particular reason. It is just here to awe passengers about the height above the water and the decks below and it looks, well, pretty cool. The floor is made of glass so you can actually see you are walking above the water and see the ship itself from an angle you normally can't.  

Of course also at the starboard side of the ship there is such a seawalk, othrwise it would look funny, but here the Seawalk Bar is located in the middel so you can have a drink above the water and enjoy the great view. Now, the view is the cruiseport of Rotterdam and its newest skyscrapers, but imagine yourself here, nipping on a whisky-ginger ale while sailing through Alaska's inside-passage or the Panama Canal.  

The main dining room aboard is the Concerto Diningroom. Here, the concept of small ship feel is also shown, as the ship doesn't have one main dining room but three. The Concerto is the restaurant where the classic shipboard dining is, where there are two seatings and passengers eat at fixed times and fixed tables. At the other wo restaurants, there are no fixed times and the policy is more modern. Those are named Allegro and Symphony. 

Alfredo's, shown below, is the ships a-la-carte Italian restaurant. It gives the feeling of being a speciality restaurant, but unlike those, Alfredo's is included in the overall cruiseprice. Princess passengers are mostly very pleased about the quality of the foods served by Alfredo's like they are pleased about most foods served aboard. It is just also the style of Alfredo's as an included speciality restaurant that fills it up rather quickly.

The Horizon Court is the buffet-area of the ship. It is very extened with a lot of choices and it really shows passengerflow here has to be very good.		The Horizon court has many seperate counters, like this bakery. All is prepared fresh and the whole court is smelling alike, creating extra appetite.

Happy faces above happy pastry at the Horizon Courts already famous Pastryshop. You will meet those in person when you cruise with Royal Princess, thats for sure.

Just aft of the Horizon Court, looking out over the ships wake, is the Horizon Terrace with its large bar and comfortable benches. In my opinion, one of the nicest places aboard, away from the fuzz on the upperdecks and the crowds inside. When you really like to relax, Horizon Terrace is the place to be.

Of course, the big atrium has the most attention, but there is a smaller, two-deck atrium that connects the Princess Casino at deck 6 and the Calypso Cove shop and Art Gallery at deck 7.		The small atrium is topped by a dramatic chandelier that gives a very classy style to this part of the ship. Also, a spiral staircase connects the two decks.

The spacious open decks of the ship have of course a central place and that is the Fountain Pool. In the evening, this pooldeck changes into an open-air fountain show with lights and music. Mostly, during a cruise there are four different fountainshows and at the last day all four of them are played once again. Otherwise, during daytime the pooldeck is of course a great place to swim and enjoy the sun or a drink outside at the bar.

Just above the pooldeck is the megascreen where the line's famous Movies Under The Stars is played.		But when you do not like the movie that is played, you also can use one of those at the Fintness Center at deck 17.

Just next to the large Calypso Cove shop, where you can buy souvenis, forgotten things or all kinds of other stuff, is the Art Gallery. It is a prety large collection that is on display and, of course, you are able to buy.

Just one thing that was very obvious, is the kinda small size of the cabins aboard. Sorry, I know I have to call those stateroom and I have to call passengers guests but sometimes I tend to be a little too traditional. Below, I'll give a picture of an inside standard cabin. It is clear that the line really wants to see all passengers outside their cabins and those are really just places to sleep. But in comparissement to other ships, I think that a little bettr size would be more preferable. On the other side, when you book a cruise you'll not spent much time in your cabin and when you do, I think you are missing too many things that are going on aboard. So although I think the cabins are too small, the ship itself gives a great experience without too much glitter and VegasEspecially for Europeans or Americans that are looking for something different then the Carnivals of the world, Royal Princess can be a great choice.
